Gary Gygax Fails Final Saving Throw

Gary Gygax rolled a natural one today, dying at the age of 69. Here is a bit of the AP: obituary.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Gary Gygax, who co-created the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.

The Leader of the Band has Died

NEW YORK (AP) — Dan Fogelberg, the singer and songwriter whose hits "Leader of the Band" and "Same Old Lang Syne" helped define the soft-rock era, died Sunday at his home in Maine after battling prostate cancer. He was 56.

Gene Pitney R.I.P.

Gene Pitney was found dead in his London hotel room while there on a UK tour at age 65. Cause of death is not yet known. Pitney recorded a series of great records between 1961-1968 and he also wrote "Hello Mary Lou" and "He's A Rebel". Pitney also played on the Stones first album and was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2002(one of the few things that place has done right). I'll miss him
