anniversary

The Chimp and I considered coming up for this show for our one year anniversary - that's the one where you play rock, paper, scissors, right? But, we've flaked and decided to go to St. Louis instead since that's only a couple hours away.

I just wanted to mention that our anniversary is already here and that I love you all for being at the wedding. To quote David Lee Roth - "Where have all the good times gone?".

The Melvins are good. Go see them. For us.

St. Louis!

If you're there this weekend - if you stay all Sunday - BIG STAR is playing a show there! Only one scheduled stateside all year. Unbeknownst to CG, I was Mapquesting last weekend to see how long it would take to get there from here. Too long. :(

Happy annimaversary!  Choose the paper, or the clock.  We got a paper clock on ours!

Happy happy happy anniversary to Ms. Info and The Chimp!  It couldn't happen to a nicer couple of peoples.  An anniversary, that is.  Well, AND a trip to St. Louis, louie.

Far....

St. Louis isn't *that* far if you break that drive into chunks. For instance, you could drive a couple, four hours to, oh, I dunno, Champaign on Saturday. Stay the night with some nice local folk there. Then make the leisurely two or so hours trek to St. Louis. Post-show, sleep in your car in East St. Louis and haul ass back to MI on Monday. Easy as pie. Alex Chilton will love you for it. Wait, I thought he was taken in Hurrican Katrina?

many thanks!

It’s cool to know that an adventure St. Louis way would be made easier with a friendly stop-over. It won’t happen this weekend tho’… do have a great time!
