I’m trying to help out a friend, but am unable to do so since I’m such an old fart and out of touch with the scene.
I got a call from one of the Mayfest planners from way back when, and she says she needs the name of our old sound guy because she wants to plan a Bronson Park "Voter regisrtation Pary" for July 26th (or the week after). I gave her the info but fear that Mark Allen is no longer at that phone number or able to come down on such short notice.
Basically she needs someone to do sound and bands to play. If you have any advice on these items please post them here, or tell me and I’ll tell her.
it’s a non-partizan event just to get people to register to vote and act like real U.S. Citizens.
