Turntables Revisited

I just scored a BIC 912C turntable for the right price  ... FREE...  and I was wondering if anybody knew much about these?  Although housed in plastic, it's got all the nicey stuff like a gimbaled tone arm and pitch/isolating adjustments and such.  The platter is pretty thick looking and it's surprisingly heavy(but not that heavy) for being plastic.  It looks to be sporting a shure cartridge but I haven't fired it up yet to see how it sounds.  I don't think the tone arm is replaceable, still It may be worth fixing up.
