Let's just be plain-spoken and blatant: I want to have dinner with you. Where should we go?

I think "when?" is a better question.
Answer: 9:30 a.m. I'm done with this day already. When does the beer garden open? The sun is coming out and so am I! Feels like it's gonna be warm enough to dine outside, but I don't pay attention to meteorology, so maybe it's gonna rain hellfire tonight, I dunno. If outdoors is YES, we have Shakes the Clown, Bell's "The Asshole Boyfriend You Keep Having Make-Up Sex With" Beer Garden, CallahanMcDougalson's ... And Mi Ranchito has a payshio!
I wrote a report. I'm done.
I wrote a report. I'm done. Fuggit.
I kinna like the Bell's notion. Can probably sell the wifer on it, too. Though the radar looks suckabutty for dinnertime. I may want to tipple a bit pre-dinner, too...I realized as I looked at my accrued vacation time that I should be ashamed of myself for using so little of it.
thunderboomers
It's supposed to storm like mad this evening. I will continue to check in. This week has been crazy at work, so I may be very last-minute about chiming in. I assume we're joining you. Wherever. Or we may just have to go home and drug the cat, Eartha, who has blood in her pee still or again, we're not sure which. She also hasn't been eating for the last 24 hours. However, it may just be an adverse reaction to the original antibiotic, so we're on a new one. I had to chase Eartha with a broom for 1/2 hour to corner her and drug her after picking up her new meds this morning. Life is awesome.
Weather and cats
Oh, kitty trauma! Chasing a cat with a broom is never a good start to the day.
As for the weather, I have no idea. I work in a basement. The farthest corner of the basement, in fact, by a mechanical room that makes scary noises and occasionally maintenance employees run by my office. The internet forecast says 80% chance of occasional thunderstorms. But occasional means to me that there will be times without thunderstorms, and if that's the time you're trying to be outside, that's all that matters.
I know that my husband had to meet some wedding dj clients at Bell's tonight as well.
And, to completely confuse things, there is also the art hopping, if desired, also.
So many options!
I hear them, they are
I hear them, they are real.
Trying to get a tree out of our backyard before it destroys the house. I haven't told it any dick or fart jokes but it's still standing there, tall and menacing.
watch out for them Trees!
They tell Paul Lynde jokes!
Allow me to make a suggestion:
I nominate Shakespeare's for 3 reasons:
1. It's easy to talk me out of it.
2. If the weather miraculously cooperates, there are both inside and outside seating options.
3. It is between wedding Bell's consultations and art hop, if necessary.
I am back from a glorious adventure in a neighboring city.
It has been raining.
I am hungry.
I have an engagement at 8.
My beautiful betrothed wishes to art hop before we dine.
Perhaps we twill bedine at the Bard's?
love teet
Anyone wanna eat early-ish? 5:30...6?
Jen gotsta go to a Gilmore To-Do at 8, which means I've got the conn at 7:45. Also, I'm hungry now.
I'm with Shakespeare's.
Shakey speary
Sounds aiiight to me but I have to work late to make up vet time and then Scott and I are making a brief stop by the FFM open house, then we will join. So we won't be early. Dangit.
We Inkster Folk
We will probably not be there early. I do not know how many will be coming tonight (2-5 eaters).Either way, we'll see you all at the Bard's Beerhouse.
Doubt it
Not sure, but I'm probably just heading home after work.
Huh? What does early mean?
Not to be dense, but 6 p.m. isn't usually considered early, but rather right on time. I think the Criswells have to leave at 8 p.m. too - what say you, Criswell? Are you going to be there early?
5:30 would float my
5:30 would float my boat.
Takers?
5:45 p.m.
That's my final offer.
Yo, Dadmin!
Why we can't be there early? Huh? Why? I propose we get a head start at FOUR thirty! Come home and let me talk you into it. You better cool it off before you burn it out--Vienna waits for you.
I can probably make 5:45 p.m.!
Who am I fooling? I've got nothing to do. Except "supposed to" and "have to" things. Boo. Aren't they the lead that flattens your soul?
I will plant my arse there
I will plant my arse there tween 5:30 and 5:45.
Table for 10 planted arses? 12?
Hello, lovely crowd!
Also, isn't the SmartyShop having a wrought iron party tonight until 11pm? Is that something we should investigate? Anyone have experience with SmartyShop Funs?
yeah.
I've been there. There it is. Hope you know somebody in the inner circle.
Anyway, we'll probably wind up dining with you, john-boy. Scott has class in the morning (well, you know, he classy all the damned time but he has A class in the morning) so I don't know if we'll be up for afterburnings. Also, I need to drug the cat.
Leaving soon.
I'll be up for some rollicking about post-dinner.
FYI.
rollicking about post-dinner
Count me in, since post-dinner is good times down the road...
