Anyone, the Zombie Richard Nixon even, would be better than Bush. McCain has made talk about the environment and other "moderate" noises. But he's flipflopped on too much -- even if I was a Republican, I wouldn't respect him for first saying he was against the Bush tax cuts for the rich, then saying he was for them; first dissing the religious right, then sucking up to "Homos brought the wrath of God to New Orleans" Hagee.
To hell with that old shit. He's as much of a pandering bastard as Hillary. If Hillary uses her new love of guns and stages an armed coup de'etat at the Dem convention, and becomes the nominee stained with the blood of her enemies, McCain might even drive me to vote for her.
