we managed to save a decent amount of cash....couple months of mortage payments....just in case.....but no.....we can't have that...now can we?
sunday....bill was leaving for work...
called in josephine from the backyard....poochess come in the house with a rip/ cut on her hind leg....a big messy bloody conundrum....had to take her to the emergency sunday vet.....$600 later....she is wearing a sonar dish around her head and has 20 stitches...i have been dog sitting ever sense....luckily she enjoys doggie pain pills and twin peaks.....poor dog...shes doing just fine....two days of laying still and sighing are over....shes her old chipper self....minus hair....

One of the cats came down with a sudden but obvious urinary tract infection this weekend. Luckily, since she was still producing wee amounts of pee, a phone call to the emergency vet told me that we could wait till first thing monday morning to take her to the vet because it wasn't total blockage. She's still under the weather, but on drugs and food supplements. Wiz, you may get to be putting additives in Eartha's chow EVERY DAY while we're on vacation. Hahahaha! i bet you're rethinking your offer now!
Poor pets!
I will not rescind my offer because you fed my sad little Siamese friend during 2 snowstorms while suffering the flu. Oh, pets. You will bankrupt us, but who could deny the unquestioning friendship?
It's nice to hear the Paddle pup is doing better.
