I'm playing hooky, so I'll be in hooky state. Oh yeah! I don't even know what that means. I'm going to some garden centers, maybe a home improvement center, and will need mucho beer-o by then.

Ann Arbor road trip would be fun, if I were a younger, more energetic with less-interest-in-comfort lady. I'm all about comfort today.

I guess my take on that is that it kinda depends on the size of the crew tonight.  It's kind of a drag when we get stuck in the giant churchpew formation.  Shakespeare's seems to be much more of a meat-market fave than it used to be...or was there some special event last time we all ate there that made it extra insane?  I can always go over earlyish and try to score us a decent table somewhere.  I do like those nachos.

Or we could try to score a spot at OP?  Or Harvey's.

Why did we only sit in the back (past the pews, where the sun was blinding half of us) that one time? Are all those tables filled when we get there and get pewed? Maybe someone could get there early and try to get that area, and we can push the tables together. It was quieter back there, too. [Also, hey Shakespeare's! What adult wants to sit on a miniature barstool (with no back) for an entire (slowly served) meal? What's up with that? How about some chairs, or maybe they don't make chairs small enough to be compatible with those low tables. Try a school supplier--I think they sell chairs unattached to desks for elementary schools. Just tryin' to help.]

So! We're in, but we'll only have The Boy, and not sure if he'll be up for out tonight. I as usual don't have much of a preference. Except for preferring end workday, drink beers, nibbles some victuals.

Yep-last time I got there early, planning on scoring us some back-o-the-room action and it was already PACKED.  don't know what that's about!

Seriously, I don't care. I will endure any kind of discomfort, just to be able to dine with you. Unless you chose to dine in a butterfly house, because I'm kind of scared of squishing or eating one of those by accident, plus the knowledge that they're basically attractive moths, which makes me a discriminatory jerk.

If the weather is still nice it might be cool to go to a place where one could at least step outside, I suppose Harvey's has that option. 

...but increasingly windy with chance of rain and storms.  I don't like hair blowing in my mouth when I'm trying to eat.

Ok, got some free time on my hands, and as always I am hungry, so I am in for dinner(this is going to be my first dinner I dont have to drive all the way from Centre stree yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

It sounds like I'm hearing more of a preference for Harvey's.  Let's say Harvey's unless someone has something better in mind.    Can we get a count and can someone do a call-ahead (if they even take call aheads).  I won't be at a computer for the next couple of hours.

If jeff and Mary come, I think we're at 11!  I will trundle down there after work, so I'll probably be holding down a largeish table and drinking with my nose in a magazine when peoples show up.  Unless others are fancy free and meet me there early.  I get out of work between 5:15 and 5:30!  I'm just sayin'!
