Regarding ZZ Top

Billy Gibbons' real name is unknown. He was homeless and was found wandering pantsless in the desert by bandmate Dusty Hill, who was there to dispose of the bodies of several illegal Mexicans that died while he tried to smuggled them into the country in his beard. Dusty was eating peyote and called his friend Frank Beard and told him that he was pretty sure he had just met Moses, and mentioned that Moses was pantsless, uncircumcised, and that his ass was burned "Redder'n a Gibbon's butt." (Dusty was known to get his apes confused) Frank, a mail-order Mohel, walked Dusty through an emergency circumcision over the phone. The words "Billy Club" were found tattooed on Moses' penis. After the Bris, only "Billy" remained. Later that drunken evening, Moses was nicknamed "Billy Gibbons." Billy, wanting to return the favor, nicknamed Dusty in a similar fashion, although the name "Dick Ass" has failed to stick to a thankful Dusty Hill.

The name ZZ Top comes from an original 4th member of the band, a stuttering frenchman who was trying to get the band to start the song over.
