I wanted to throw out a new traditionalist idea: the steak “sizzler special” with dinner salad and potato at the Sports Forum on Mosul (around $10). A bit far for a bicycle, but plenty of parking. They have a seperate dining room that is separate from the bar that can accomodate larger groups.

It’s a small art hop, despite the AWESOME art show at Louie’s of our own Cinnamon Girl. (Also our friend of Leppo George). So the Tap House should not be ruled out. Plus it’s close to one of the other art hop events I want to attend.
Which means the closest would be Louie’s itself. I am not sure I want to dine over the deep fryer, though.
I think the Sports Forum would be fun for next weekend!

I vote for. Sports Forum should definatelely be considered for next week. J and I went there all the time, back in the olden times. Because of a neighbor, who thought it the height of cuisine. One karaoke night we went, and I drank 4 or 9 bourbons, sang Johnny Cash, puked later on. Memories.
I would never vote for a group Dinner at Louie’s, but only because I don’t like the seating options there. The food’s good though, so whatever.
There’s a possibility that I’ll head home after work to pick up Treela. If that happens, we may not make it back in time for dinner. We will, of course, be back for hopping and rocking.
I fear that the consumer who buys a Confederate flag coffee cup, which she will then put on her American flag place mat, is the sort of sophisticated thinker who is open-minded enough that she is capable of hating blacks and Arabs at the same time.

Will the House be too Tapped?
Doesn’t Tap House require a reservation? We were excited to eat there for the first time a month ago and then the House was waaaay too full.
