I had the pulled poke sandwich at Ray Ray's Wednesday, and it was massive. But they only got three chairs in there, and no booze (unless you can get something from the liquor store next door and sip from the sack).

So that got me thinking about the poke at Martini's. Would this establishment be suitable?

....should we try it?  It's me and Scott, M*rk and J*les, Ron later and.....where are Wichard and Wiz?

I'm OK with anything.  Even the Corner Bar....

Would it be possible for most of us to get to Martini's kind of early to get a table?  Am I understanding correctly that right now it's six of us, with Ron joining later?  And Huge hanging out later? 

I'm cool if we go somewhere other than Martini's, too.  I'm always nervous about somehow doing the wrong thing with a large group and getting banned for life.  Of course, we're moving, so I guess it doesn't matter!  HAW HAW!

Hey all.  There are big plans hatched by kids for tonight involving me driving and serving up food and providing location for sleepover.  I hope to eat with you all some other night in the near future, and I hope you all enjoy the beautiful melty sunny/starry out there tonight.

If you want, or need me. Just say so. I might be an optimistic, because the front door is wiiiiiide open like it's July or something, and I'm enjoying the air so far.

My lady will meet us after hopping. I can be there as early as 5:30. But I don't want to stand around alone, people staring at my audacious claim to have six or more people who'd want to eat with me.

Eating a little later might be better than earlier.  Ron will be joining us when he gets out of work.     I want to go to Water St. and see Erin Dorbin's pictures.   How about 6:30 at Martini's?

Whooooooooooooooooooo boy.  You really think we can show up during the busy hour and get seating?  I'm thinking we won't be eating till 8 or 8:30......or has anyone else been to martini's on a weekend night lately and seen a slowdown?  I honestly haven't been in a while so i don't know how the busy busy times are going these days..

To get a table. Would it be feasible to have a small team of commandos hit the joint at 6, accrue a table, and be ready for those who shall arrive?

I may join you there, but I might also choose to have a beer elsewhere, and then join you for shenanigans afterwards.  (Assuming there are shenanigans to join in on.)

The food is really really really really really really good.  Dude.  GOOOOOOOD.  Mmmmmm.  You should try it.  We're just going on one of the busiest nights, that's my only hesitation.  And what would Friday be without me whining and suggesting potential problems with every proposed destination, I ask you?

I love you guys, but you're crazy. It's not that bad! Do not listen to war stories / child birth stories! The parking is no worse than O.P. or Roadhouse, and I have NEVER waited 2 hours for a table. It's a table for 7, not 14. Let's get a grip here.
