Today is the day we honor the birth of the man named after the airplane engine that won WW II. Not to mention that he helped make the most important person in my life possible.
There will be cake and the burning of wood and maybe more. There must be dinner first. Where will this dinner be had?

People born this time of year ARE the best, it is true. Trying, trying, trying. Going to start the big jog around town picking people up, getting them where they need to be; home, then other places. My husband rented a tractor today. I never knew I would love having a tractor in my yard so much. I am going to try to be somewhere where you all are tonight.
