Thanks, y’all! I practically ignored it all day ‘til my sweet ladies helped me celebrate with some home cookin’, a chocolate cake, and some Motown dancing. Kap’n Jr. wowed me by throwing an imaginary mic in front of her face, lip-syncing “WAR! Hunnh!”, finally spinning herself around 360 degrees on her belly like she was auditioning for the Lockers. Tuesday nights should always be like that.
Can I give a very belated birthday shout-out to my January brah UE? I thought I’d see him this month, but I haven’t, like I haven’t seen anyone, even made much effort to communicate (here, obviously). This hibernation has become oppressive. It’s either the month or the age. Like, I’m listening to the new Glen Campbell and I’m REALLY liking it.
I work late Friday, predicting I won’t be making it out to dinner, but I’ll catch up with you all soon.
