really? a BLIZZARD?!
Oh, everybody. I’m wondering if we’ll be able or willing to hang out and eat dinner tonight. it’s snowy out there, which you may have noticed. You may have even been awakened at an ungodly hour by howling winds and clattering ice drops hitting your bedroom window, as I was. Glad to be at work? Not necessarily. Cranky? Perhaps. Hungry? Always. We shall have to keep tabs on the day and see where it takes us.

Oh, weather. Why do you suck?
I’m not sure I’d call it a blizzard. (Actually, I looked it up, because I’m a nerd. I think this doesn’t qualify because the temperatures are too high.) It seems more like a stupid sleet storm. But yeah, I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable about getting there, but I still think it’d be nice. Empty restaurants! Super-slow speed trolly rides! Beers! I’m willing.
Hah
“Bud’s in Schoolcraft!”
“Su Casa in Fennville”
Our agency is CLOSED
I do think we should try for dinner, maybe somewhere downtown. Maybe those of us with AWD vehicles could help out…
The etymology is good.
The etymology is good. (Thanks wizzybit!) We just got done shoveling the driveway… heavy snow, but pretty.
Tiz just a flurry.
My car has magic traction and anti-skid breaks, so I know it can make it. If my dear reads this, I’ll try to park somewhere on the street (a danger due to others’ inability to drive in this stuff) so we can use my American-made oldmanmobile.
I’m better from the sickness, so eating and drinking and holly jollying sound swell.
Holden's Magical Shovel
Holden had us all shoveled out by 11:30 AM. All the little paths and sidewalks and driveway and porches. Love that boy. I am now owing Mr. Muscles some caysh.
Angie and I will be at the OP today from about 3 PM until close, so if you wanna eat there, we’ll make some arrangements.
FREE DAY!
This is the first time that year-round employees like me have ever had a snow day off, since I’ve worked in the public schools. It’s super awesome. Super duper awesome.
So, if not OP, then maybe we could go to that Spanish restaurant in Valparaiso. I’ve always wanted to go there.
And regarding driving
I’m taking the motherf*cking city bus, y’all. It runs until 10 or 11 PM.
School's out for WEEKS!!1!
We didn’t get out of bed until the most-senior of our offspring came upstairs to ask us what’s for lunch — after he’d shoveled our walks and drive. When life gives you lemonade, you’d better not let it go to waste! I don’t want to lose my unproductive edge by even so much as contemplating cooking dinner tonight, so I’ll have Dadmin put the snow tires on my Rascal and plan to roll at you to-nite!
opp
Yeah, OP!
I’m betting Richard is napping right now, so I wouldn’t wait for his approval. I said I’d work until 4 p.m., but I could also walk there very easily. I could even go “early”.
Not sure
I may just head home after work. I hafta work all weekend, and I’m gonna need some downtime. Might change my mind later, ‘cause I’m fickle.
OP rules. We’ll
We’re down. Our Kia
