anyone here see the Homosexuals on their current tour of the US? they have a new (!!) album coming out any second now (I think it even comes out today?), and are playing DC thursday night… so I’m wondering if I should bother.. they were really great 20+ years ago, but I’m suspect of old people that haven’t played in ages trying to pull it off… because I’m cynical about such things.

I think you probably should bother.  I have been to a lot of reunion shows the past few years and there has only been one group (not counting the Penetrators, ugh) that I have seen that didn’t pull it off.  That group was called Big Black and the irony of Mr. Integrity himself taking the piss up on stage in front of thousands was indeed priceless.
