Podcast Fans?

Anyone else into podcasts? I’ve always loved talk radio, so much so that I’ll even listen to conservative talk shows if I can’t find anything else. My 4 gig Ipod is about 1/3 podcasts all the time. Radiolab’s my fave, but I like a lot of them. I like a lot of the NPR stuff; This American Life, Studio 360, Fresh Air…all the stuff I can’t seem to catch when it airs. The Ricky Gevais’ podcasts are fun, Flight Of The Concords video podcasts are good for a laugh, I even listen to "This week From Lake Wobegone" every once in a while. It’s soooothing. I’m always subscribing and unsubscribing to different things. So much great stuff out there. Things from The New Yorker, National Geographic, lot’s from the BBC… So much information and fun right there waiting for me to soak it up.
A couple of times in the past, I asked several family members, and even a couple of you to make sure that, heaven forbid, if I should ever end up, like, bedridden, to please make sure I have a good radio within reach that gets NPR. And not just the classical music stations, I want to be talked at. Now I could probably fill an 80 Gig Ipod with enough talk to last me the rest of my life!
You could still come and visit me though. Bring comic books.
So, if anyone else is into this sort of thing, I’d be interested in hearing about the shows you like.
(Last night I finally figured out how to get SWAG onto my Ipod. That made me really happy. I wish all you WIDR DJ’s would get on that. I can only hear your shows when I’m in town.)

Eat My Pod!
Submitted by Bat Guano on Thu, 10/23/2008 - 11:24am.This episode of SwaG! proves that host Bat Guano is just not right. Go here to get three hours of weird radio.
This episode is two weeks old. Guano has been taking time off to participate in undisclosed “therapy.” He will capture the SwaG! Halloween Special and make it available for your festivities by the end of Oct. 30. Unless he’s shot in the head when mistaken, understandably, for a rabid zombie.
A repository...
Submitted by QuantumNoise on Thu, 10/23/2008 - 11:33am.Making this thread a repository for pocast interviews would be cool. I’ve been obsessed with them over the last two weeks. I’ve listened to about four diff interviews with Joan Didion. I’m now looking for a podcast/online audio interview with Nick Tosches, but to no avail. Any leads? Any other good interviews out there?
