Camille Paglia is an idiot. So resentful that she couldn’t make the Ivy League cut….
Sarah Palin is a ‘pioneer woman’ my ass.

Palinful
This is painful right from the get go: "I was actually leaning towards Obama before he stated his willingness to enter negotiations with Iran with no pre-conditions. This is frightening stuff here. My wife and I lived in Germany for five years until late 2006, and I worked in Baghdad during the better part of 2006. His offer is reminiscent of Neville Chamberlain…"
Once again, lets haul out the Hitler/Iran meme. And this is suppose to be a publication for smart people.
More bullshit...
More inanity… However, I would appeal to you and to all Americans to acknowledge that the preservation of our liberties ultimately depends on the enormous dedication and self-sacrifice of our military men and women.
Dead wrong. The "preservation of liberty ultimately depends on" a population of Americans who are willing to wake up, get educated and challenge a government that’s blatantly destroying our liberties from within. (Once again, the "they’re out to get us" paranoia (see Hitler/Iran meme above) rears its ugly head.)
Is this what Camille means by preserving liberty?
U.S. inquiry shows Afghan raid killed 30 people: report

I'm glad you've finally recognized the truth about me....
but it’s not exactly an original thought of mine. If you google it, you’ll see that Paglia’s been an idiot since 1990. I figure she just likes to re-read her own writing, which is rather pleasant, because no sane person could actually believe that stuff, right?
Sigh.
I wish I could earn a living endlessly jerking-off with stories pulled out of my ass. (And that’s why I don’t! Such a mix of unpleasant images!)
I made it through the first
I made it through the first paragraph and found this nugget: "Disdain for the military is rampant, and conservative voices are rarely heard." Really? O rly? No fucking wai! Faculty and students at a college that isn’t Bob Jones University being kinda sorta liberal.
Camille’s default sleep mode is douchebaggery.
Palin is not an idiot she
Palin is not an idiot she just dosent know history thats all.
She thinks Bill Ayers is a terrorist so she probably thinks Bobby Seale is the antichrist. Palin is probably one of those goofy white people who thinks that Martin Luther King was a communist. If McCain wins and dies in office she will be president. If only J. Edgar Hoover were still alive, they would get along so well.
what?!
By the time I get to Arizona
Hey Mickey you’re the McCain man. Seems like the Bill Ayers thing would be just great to you. Anything to keep Obama out right? As for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., McCain’s votes on the MLK holiday are below.
1983: McCain Voted Against Law Creating National Martin Luther King Holiday. In 1983, McCain voted against passing a bill to designate the third Monday of every January as a federal holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That was the year the holiday was passed into law, supported by 338 members of the House and 78 members of the Senate. [1983 House Vote #289, 8/2/1983; 1983 Senate Vote #303]
1987: McCain Supports AZ Governor’s Effort to Rescind Martin Luther King Day As State Holiday. In 1987, Arizona Governor Evan Mecham rescinded "what he termed an illegal executive order by his predecessor, Democrat Bruce Babbitt, to establish a state holiday honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr." Speaking to the Arizona Teenage Republican Convention, when asked about Mecham’s decision to rescind the holiday, "McCain said that he felt Mecham was correct in rescinding the holiday." [Washington Post, 1/14/1987; Phoenix Gazette, 4/13/1987]
1989: McCain Urged Lawmakers To Create State Holiday, But Expressed Opposition To Federal Holiday. In 1989, McCain expressed his support for a state law recognizing an Arizona Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. But, McCain said, "I’m still opposed to another federal holiday…but I support the (Arizona) Martin Luther King holiday because of the enormous proportions this issue has taken on as far as the image of our state and our treatment towards not only blacks but all minorities." [Phoenix Gazette, 5/2/1989]
1992: McCain Endorsed Proposition Creating State Holiday. "McCain endorsed Proposition 300, which would establish a paid state holiday honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr." [Phoenix Gazette, 10/28/1992]
1994: McCain Voted To Strip Federal Funding From the MLK Federal Holiday Commission. In 1994, McCain voted to prohibit federal funds for the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday Commission. The Commission was established in 1984 "to encourage the observance of King’s birthday." According to Al King, head of the California chapter of the commission, the organization "helped keep ‘senators’ and representatives’ feet to the fire to recognize the holiday.’" [1994 Senate Vote #127, 5/24/1994; Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 5/24/1995, 5/26/1995]
Yeah he’s a real mavrick……..
More airing of Ayers
Palin, in a way, is smart to get short term gains by making Ayers into an "unrepentant terrorist" and telling the lynch mob that Obama is working with a terrorist. But she’s not smart enough to realize she’s just getting a small bit of the base riled up enough to vote, and perhaps enough to riot. If you’re into history, read this from here
In a surprising a letter to the editor published in The New York Times today, the chief prosecutor of the Weather Underground in the 1970s expressed outrage over the linking of Barack Obama to Bill Ayers by the McCain campaign, adding, "Although I dearly wanted to obtain convictions against all the Weathermen, including Bill Ayers, I am very pleased to learn that he has become a responsible citizen."
William C. Ibershof also corrects a charge in the Times: "I do take issue with the statement in your news article that the Weathermen indictment was dismissed because of ‘prosecutorial misconduct.’ It was dismissed because of illegal activities, including wiretaps, break-ins and mail interceptions, initiated by John N. Mitchell, attorney general at that time, and W. Mark Felt, an F.B.I. assistant director."
Felt, of course (you may have already forgotten), was also known as a guy called "Deep Throat."
