I thought you might like to know that little Choey Cho Choverson is today celebrating 15 years of keeping people on their toes and making himself at home in many people’s hearts. If you’d like to holla at him, and I’m sure he’d like to hear from well-wishers, you can leave him a message at the home phone, or e-mail him at (his first name) at leppotone dot com. He’s going away for the weekend on Friday, so he won’t be making an appearance at Leppo Feedbag Central, unfortunately. Here’s looking (up) at you, kid.

There was a verbal disagreement and discussion with some shirtless skate punks when we were out trying to get a new president a couple Saturdays ago. They claimed that our new president would get shot. After we parted with the two young gentlemen, I said something like, “Someone’s always trying to kill a president. They’d all gotten shot at one point or ‘nother.” H set the record straight. “Actually, only — presidents have had assassination attempts.” (I refuse to put down the number he said because I can’t remember and any number I come up with is likely wrong.)

He just showed that the cool application of the facts are needed to calm heated rhetoric.

That is one of the many factors that completely slays me about the boy. Young man. Yipes! What did Supernintendo Chalmers say after a day with him? "His forthright honesty and enthusiasm for the job were very refreshing."
