Whew, I won't have to spend
Whew, I won’t have to spend $200 on a box set of CD’s anymore.
In related music news: what the fuck is the internet and where is a soulseek?
Hmmm...
You don’t think our friends at Bluebeat Music are trying to boost sales?
I wonder if this is legit…
Licensing tracks that aren't
Licensing tracks that aren’t availabe in the United States from the person who owns the European rights to the songs and then producing the discs in Europe and then selling them back to the United States is just the way business should be conducted in a perfectly stupid fucking world.
"Zombie Heaven" CHEAP!
Do people still say "surf the net"? I was surfing the net to find out more about this, when I discovered that a big box retailer’s site is offering Ace UK offshoot Big Beat’s 4-disc Zombies box for $14.99! (Not third party-seller either.)
When I checked the Bluebeat site, I saw the "Cosimo Matassa Story" set from Proper and realized its tracks were all recorded before or during 1957. The UK copyright law is 50 years expiration, US is 90. Maybe the select (it didn’t say all) Ace and Bear Family titles getting dropped are those "possibly" violating US copyright law? (EMI must hold the Fats Domino tracks - Universal would hold Chess masters - etc.)
