Best thing about it is reading Sly’s new lyrics, not to mention the way he uses language to describe situations past and present.  If new songs get recorded, I have faith in the greatness of the lyrics… it’s the music I’m worried about?

Did you know that the original music behind the famous montage of Rocky doin’ his big morning workout, runnin’ up the steps of whatever that place is in Philly, was "I Want To Take You Higher"?  Seriously, sync up the sequence with Sly’s studio version (don’t use the Woodstock live version) and it works perfectly.  Apparently Bill Conti’s "connections" got a little rough with Stallone and the Sly cut got axed.

Coach was there and he wasnt much help at all but luther wasn’t there and neither was that big dumb swede from the tv show and that was kind of weird. also, i thought Coach was married to that curly hair lady, whats he doing with woody allen lady? also, why did that square pegs girl turn out so prissy? shes got contacts now, in case you dint see the movie. everyone got mad at each other but were in love by the end.
