I’ve hung lots of flyers over the last several weeks for the impending ? show. Would anybody be willing to take a pile and select a part of town to hit? I am relatively sure that lots of them that I’ve already hung have probably been postered over by now and could use refreshing.
As you can see, I’m a bit burned out on the whole schlemiel. Anybody wanna hang some crap up? I’m honestly at the point where I don’t know (beyond the downtown) which establishments actually allow flyering. Are they few and far between or is it my imagination? Anybody know the campus areas well enough to hit em? I did CD warehouse and giant burritto whatever up there, as well as Rocketstar and….I can’t remember. hell’s BALLS! I’m sure they could all be reflyered.

I just realized that I let Dusty drive off this morning with the sac-o-flyers in his car.
And, yes, I hit Martini’s. Not likely to get flyered over there.
I’m thinking that probably all the campus area locations that anyone can think of could get hit again. Wiz, like you, I tried to think of Portage spots and couldn’t other than grocery store bulletin boards……If you’d be willing to revisit WMU’s campus? That would be AWESOME? As awesome as uptalking?

Friday afternoon, I went flyering with the stash I had after the library lost power (along with several other blocks of downtown businesses - after a couple of hours the library shut ‘er down). I hit Michigan News Agency, Dancing Cranes, whatever is or was the rock climbing place, and Something’s Brewing - all have posted the flyers. I wanted to hit Terrapin but they were closed - I still have a few and can get one to them. I can try Ripe (or whatever it is now). I think the Union only posts flyers for their shows and WMU events, wouldn’t hurt to try, I can hit them too.
I drove to CD Warehouse to see if they needed a flyer, one was already up. Among other campus locales, both Jimmy John’s post flyers, I can hit them both. I’ll be on WIDR tomorrow (Nonchalant Cafe Hour), at this point I don’t know if it’s an in-person or phone interview (depends on who can cover for me at work), if it’s in-person I’ll certainly get a flyer or two to get posted in the studio.
I didn’t post at downtown locales I thought had been hit (Polly and Esther’s, Tommy’s, etc.), but as I’m right downtown, I can hit those and any other places in case they didn’t get flyers.
Friday is Art Hop, I know Jeff M’s posted about his upcoming exhibit that night at Park Trades, maybe there’s a way to post there or at other galleries/spaces?
May I add here - as I’ve been so incommunicado - I REEEALLY appreciate all the time and effort everyone’s given to get the word out about this show and help make it happen. I am SO looking forward to an awesome night hanging with everyone who makes it out! See you there!

So far, tickets are not sold out. Nope. Sales are good, but I think it’s mostly gonna be walk-up. How early are you getting into town tomorrow? I could probably pick you kids up some tickets. Then we’d need to rendezvous….or you could just swang by the house. The boys’ll be practicing around 6 pm.
