Really could use a drink. Had stomach flu / food poisoning fun after New Years, think I am ready for real booze again. Tap Room has decent gin for Martinis.
I did want to check out one or two hops, so that would be handy.
In other “news”, HLN has been excitedly reporting about a deer trapped on an icy lake in Massachusetts the entire time I’ve been on break. This country is doomed.
Going to visit Dad at Borgess Hospital after work. He had a Carotid Endarterectomy a couple of days ago. (it’s “a surgical procedure used to prevent stroke, by correcting stenosis [narrowing] in the common carotid artery.”)
Things went well, but they decided to keep him for a few days while they tweak his meds and try to address a small clot in his heart.
Anyhoo, depending on how visty he feels, Treela and I may make it for dinner, (but perhaps just a tad tardily.)
Truffle Oil. I’ll leave it at home.
Too pooped to party. Hope to see you all soon!

The Mayan gallbladder prophesies are coming true!
On the bright side, according to the Wizards of Wiki, “As many as twenty percent of patients develop chronic diarrhea!”
Unfortunately, it also says that most cases clear up within weeks . …….
